“On the contrary: ‘If you enemy is hungry, feed him” Romans 12:20
The next few croutons are a quote from Proverbs 25:21-22.
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;
if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head,
and the Lord will reward you.
What is this advice “on the contrary” to?
Does this proverb promise reconciliation? What does it promise?
